Since I can remember, Spirituality has always been a subject of deep interest for me. In my enduring quest to find and realize God, I have walked many paths in search of the ultimate Truth, interacted with many like-minded aspirants, read numerous spiritual and inspirational books and spent uncountable hours introspecting and questioning. I was strongly influenced by the lives of saints, heroes and great characters from history – people who had an indomitable spirit and those men who never gave up. Over the years, all that I have learnt and imbibed on this ever-new, ever-fresh path to God has been systematically ingrained in my mind, but it never found an opportunity to express itself.
It was only from 2001 when I relocated to Mumbai, all the past efforts began to slowly fructify and yielded enriching, unforgettable experiences.
Prior to one of her birthdays in May 2008, my loving daughter Mandira, made a sweet request to me for “a road map to go through life” as a birthday present. That’s when I decided to put into writing some of my key lessons in spiritual awakening and learning which I felt would act as a guiding light for her now and later. That’s how this blog came into being. It was meant to last for not more than three years but for God’s grace and the unconditional love and mercy by the holy saints, it is still active. I dedicate all my writings and all efforts associated with it at the Holy Feet of the Great Masters.
The blog has been divided into many sections. Some are-
Celebrate Life- was primarily addressed to my daughter and was written from May 2008 to May 2009. Posts in this section are of preparatory level.
The section Door to heaven was started in August 2009. This contains posts of a more advanced nature.
Life Sacred has references and reflections of my pilgrimage to holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in July and Aug of 2010. It was wrapped up on 10th of Sept’11 with the post ‘Why is it mandatory to have a Divine Guru-I & II? I had touched upon topics of Consciousness and Super Consciousness as well as our relation with Mother Earth. The post ‘The state of Super Consciousness-II’ has the biography of Shri Mahavatar Babaji and should interest all the devotees and disciples of his.
Segment D titled ‘Our lost rich heritage’ began on 10.11.11 . This segment is about reviving our past lost rich heritage from the spiritual view point. The beginners can refer the home page and the first three articles titled ‘Our lost rich heritage–I, II & III to get started for this particular segment. Part-I has many visuals of the heritage sites I visited and the later part, part- II pays more attention to knowledge of occultism, death, life after death and reincarnation and how to use this knowledge to enhance our future lives.
Segment-E started on 10.10.12 is called New Light, New Life has the first post with the same title. The next three posts are a continuation of my experiences and higher illumination after the foiled voyage to Babaji’s Badrinath Satopanth Ashram and are titled ‘I get a new life, a new light in Badrinath-I, II & III.
The blog has made a shift at this juncture with the post ‘A foreword before we take a new turn into our future spiritual training on this website.’
The later segments contain topics covering and touching upon the time frame of millions of years ago. The very ancient rishis or sages who had divine illumination at that time did not perish. They are still active and alive in the astral skies and are involved in the process of helping the sincere and deserving aspirants and devotees, mostly hiding from their abode. Please also read About this blog to know more on this.
It was only with the blessings and guidance of His Holiness Sri Mahavatar Babaji, my Param Guru that I have been able to write in an uninterrupted flow when I began several years ago. Many a times, He has told me subtly through mediums like intuition, dreams, clairvoyance, visions and telepathy about what to write. To write the posts that appear here, I have gone through periods of deep meditation, travelling to many spiritual sites and pilgrimages, contemplation and holding regular Workshops. As I move along writing this blog, I feel grateful to have been bestowed with such blessings that have helped me touch new spiritual heights and deepened my knowledge of the worlds unseen.
I earnestly bow at His Lotus feet again with all my gratitude and devotion. His divine nature and continuous spiritual guidance is the motivation behind my writing and other works.
Babaji’s nature is very reclusive. He prefers to work from behind the scenes in silence and when He deems fit, he discreetly reveals himself to the devotees in many ways. My blog reflects his mission, his views on world affairs, humanity, sadhana, tapasya (spiritual efforts and penance) and the power and role of a Guru.
