Sankalpa Shakti, the power of our thoughts-III

Part A

My dear friends, it has been a long time since a new post was issued on the blog. There are two specific reasons for it. Firstly, I realized that I have worked a lot on the blog particularly in the last three years to the extent of being soft on my health. Besides, I wanted that people should read the posts over and over again; there are so many.  And simultaneously, our one more open school on Face Book has been underway. It is christened Life Beautiful. By now it has taken a proper shape and I find some newcomers ready for bigger things. Some of you are taking the benefits of both platforms; the more the merrier! Along with this, some new blog readers are communicating with me after reading various posts and are seeking advice for personal growth. They are being attended to and looking at the various aspects that have started flourishing associated with Spiritinlife, I feel humbled as well as satisfied. I have shrunk the size of my emails to minimal, nonetheless everybody’s needs are addressed to and I see everyone’s development taking place at a fast speed. I believe this must be the aim of Shri Mahavatar Babaji and his community of godly souls. Some of you are also speeding up their progress purposely and are visiting the holy shrines and dynamic spiritual places on their own to grow faster and seeking blessings.

I see clearly that the spiritual energies of a number of saints are at constant work. They are in collusion and commune with me and are sending and relaying various messages for different aspirants so that their progress should be at a reasonably good pace.

Just recently, that is to say a few hours ago as I woke up from a very restful sleep, it was ordained that I leave all other predefined tasks and immediately sit down to write after I have a short period of strong connection with them in meditation. I am complying and my words are just flowing unbrokenly. Tremendous energy I receive from them to do this wonderful task of writing spiritual essays of various topics only when God pronounces.

Part B

Last month I had gone to Bodh Gaya It was one of the most memorable visits that I have made so far. After I returned home from that place, I saw one day in a sublime state that a thick pillar of white Light is ascending from the sky and falling on the Bodhi Tree. Such transcendent encounters are always inspiring and sought by any practicing yogi. It was as if God was trying to say something to me about crucial and important things after I have already returned home. As the Light of God stopped pouring on the Bodhi Tree, I was informed, “Perennial Light is being inducted by God in this place to keep it effusively energized. It is happening because people who visit this place should be facilitated to remove their ignorance, avidya from inside their minds. Specific places on the Earth are being radiated by God’s Light with a specific purpose and this place is blessed by such a prominent feature.

Bodh Gaya has two specialties in fact, that of clearing our sins and broadening our consciousness depending on the size of our vessel.

Just a few seconds later the beam of Light became weak in strength and I was wondering what happened suddenly. I was enlightened further when I learnt that minds that are scattered, weak, or poor in health, in such cases the beam of light gets scattered in blobs around such vessels because those minds are unable to absorb all of the Light.

In contrast I viewed that when the thick beam of Light was falling on strong and enlightened mind, it was penetrating inside it fully. It was proving by itself that if people’s minds are filled with pride, desires, vasanas, and hence filled up with those dense particles and the rays of Light are not able to enter the brain or mind. If the mind is preoccupied with worldly thoughts, we cannot equip ourselves in retaining those rays of Light because it is already engaged in something else.

Part C

Very rarely can I hope to have a darshan or interaction with a very primitive and extremely reclusive divine soul like Shri Murugan Swami or Kartikeyan Swami. I understand that this must be because Shri Bogarnatharji must have blessed me as I have visited Palani in Dec,2013 in spite of poor physical health condition. Or is it because I am doing Shri Babaji’s seva continuously? Well, I have no fixed answer or any idea what happened. But I guess, a sincere yogi’s life has many twists and turns. I attribute this phase of my yogic life to this aspect and reason. For those readers who do not know uptil now, Kartikeyan Swami is in the lineage of Shri Mahavatar Babaji of siddhas or acclaimed yogis of India. He is Lord Shiva’s second son apart from Lord Ganesha. In down South, he is revered profusely and is called by various names such as Murugan Swami, Shanmuga, Kumar Swami, Kartikeyan and so on.

He has appeared before me a couple of times and has caused ripples of exhilaration, because his frequency is impossible to reach. I am at this moment, as I finish my post thinking that after being able to hear the highest frequencies of Om could have enabled me to commune with him at his state of astral existence? Or has Babaji blessed me with this attribute? Well, if leaving out these reasons, then I cannot explain myself with another justification or explanation. To my satisfaction and belief, I think a combination of all these factors empowered me to have the great opportunity to get to know one more fascinating fact about the secreted world of the advanced yogis and alchemists in their immortal states.

Shri Kartikeyan Swami enlightened me by adding something more to my assemblage of spiritual knowledge. Before his advent, I saw bright Light in my inner view. It was very dense and conformed to the fact that indeed his stature is phenomenal.

“A soul suffers in every life because of its own shortcomings. It is born hundreds of times because of vasanas or desires or ahankar or ego.

A good yogi will remove these two great barriers automatically with his or her own desire.

Those who do not listen to their conscience, take endless re-births and prolong their sufferings, mental and spiritual both and do not even know how to bring an end to their own untold misery.

You have taken the shortest time to evolve and blossom and therefore are in bliss and continuous joy.

Those who are now awaking and have woken up after such endless incarnations are still in agony because their awakening is also painful. They will take much longer time to rise up and flourish in the realm of the Spirit. It is because human beings have poor quality of thoughts. It is our Sankalpa or power of thought which will catapult us to doing extraordinary actions in spite of all hurdles or obstacles in Nature in all lives.

It is because of the power of our thoughts that we shall be able to perform those actions which are conducive in realizing our Self.

If the Self is tainted with ego, desires and selfish interests, then the Spirit cannot unfold.

Blessed are those who are forever serving God and the Illumined Souls in uplifting this world.

Blessed are those who are leading a quiet, pious and blissful, holy life.

Blessed are those who are making this Universe more livable for all other living creatures.

Blessed are those who understand that the highest happiness lies in serving the children of God.

Upasana karo apni Atma ki,

 Balidaan, do apne ahankar ki

Kshan, kshan, pal pal nit nayi laharehen

Ishwar ki tumhari ore ayanegi

Yadi mana swachch rakha sada

Sukh bhogoge ati indriyi ananda ka

Ishwar ka ghar sada khula rahega

Jab chaho amrit varsha ko chakh lena

Barasta raheta hai tumhare hi andar

Kewal apne mana ko ati pavitra der hai banane ki……

Translation, though not as poetic as it was in Hindi.

Worship your  own Atma

Give sacrifice of your ego

Each and every moment, new waves of

God shall appear near you

If you keep your mind ever clean

You shall gain joy that is beyond senses

The house of God shall be ever open for you

You can drink the flowing nectar

Which cascades always inside you

It is just a matter of making your mind pious and clean……”

In such meditative times, as my mark of gratitude and thanksgiving to all the Illumined Masters who are constantly helping us to alleviate our sufferings and mental misery, I got up to light incense sticks of Ketaki flowers for Shri Kartikeyan Swami in particular. It is with this intent that may we all bloom in Self, our Atma and spread such enticing fragrance as that of Ketaki in the world that we live in!

Guru Brahma, Gurur Vishnu………

A Note for all of you-

For the convenience of all readers, I am making my profile on FaceBook public. Kindly keep communications only as much as required so as to save our precious time. It is continuation of Spiritinlife and is not being used to socialize at all.

Regarding my articles, I would appreciate that you do not offer these posts to others or publicize them unnecessarily for the reason that they are extremely pious and exquisite and are being issued timely with the sole objective of propagation of ancient, old forgotten, least practised theology and teachings. They are not meant for mental satisfaction or open public discussions. They are for you if you are considering yourself a seeker, a devotee or a yogi and wish to dedicate yourself for your Soul improvement. Please do not share with or involve my profile in creating literature which brings down the level and standard of Spiritinlife and thus losing its objectives in the long run.

If you need any support, advice or clearing of doubts you are always welcome but with all norms of a learner and a teacher in place and intact. I appreciate your co-operation and consideration.

Thank you.

    Hello Aunty,

What is the meaning of vessel in the line “Bodh Gaya has two specialties in fact, that of clearing our sins and broadening our consciousness depending on the size of our vessel.”

    • spiritinlife says:

Dear Shilpa, vessel broadly can mean our body but in this place I meant our mind. Consciousness relates to our mind, isn’t it? Broadening of consciousness depends on the state of the person’s mind.
Read again you will get it.

Beautiful post Sarikaji! What you have stated is so true that when there is ego, desire, lust, anger, greed etc. then one cannot be receptive to the light of God. We in fact push God away from us.

  5. Sarika ji,

i am reading this blog in the same curiosity when i started reading “Auto biography of a yogi”.
